Hi, I’m Jenn

Administration, Client Support & Office Director

Jenn is the first point of contact at The FELT Wisdom.

She leads scheduling, billing, and client support, ensuring each person’s experience begins with clarity, care, and ease.

Jenn is a retired Emergency Medical Services (EMS) dispatcher and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and currently works as a patient service representative and medical assistant in a primary care office south of Boston. Her background gives her a deep understanding of healthcare systems, frontline stress, and the importance of being heard within medical environments.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Jenn is a First Responder Treatment Provider (FRTP) and a somatic practitioner, bringing both organizational skill and embodied awareness to her role as Office Director. Her presence helps create a grounded, respectful entry point into care.

My Personal Note and Work Experiences

Personal Note

I am the office director and co-owner of The FELT Wisdom. Over the past two years, I've been undergoing EMDR therapy and have been in talk therapy for several years to address complex trauma. The COVID pandemic brought significant work-related trauma and stress into my life; I was looking for another modality outside of my current therapy.

During my research, I discovered the importance of the mind-body connection, which led me to explore the profound impact of Somatic Stress Release (SSR), founded by Dr. Scott Lyons. This transformative approach has had a significant effect on me. SSR has provided insights into how stress manifests in the body and taught me methods to release it. This experience led me to focus on somatics, and I’m delighted to offer my services to support you on your journey.

I am working toward becoming certified in Somatic Stress Release, and I am Polyvagal Informed. I am working towards my MindBody Coaching, Somatic Attachment, Developmental trauma therapy, & EMDR certifications.

My professional background includes hotel management, medical assistant certification, and emergency medical services as an EMT and dispatcher.

I am a trauma survivor.

I love spending quality time with my dogs and cats, tidying up my home, driving beyond the city, practicing mindfulness, and enjoying walking and running. I also appreciate dressing up occasionally, though I prefer a casual look. I cherish the moments I spend with my friends and family.

Work Experience

I began my career as a waitress while working toward my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification in Greater Metro Boston, Massachusetts. After several years as an EMT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I transitioned to a dispatcher role, which I found immensely rewarding.

In search of new challenges, I took a position at a hotel, managing customer service while exploring various opportunities. Later, I became the office manager and certified medical assistant in the Gastroenterology department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Eventually, I moved into a clinical role as a patient service representative in a primary care clinic to further my education in somatics as a healing practice and hone the skills necessary to help others.

I am on an extraordinary journey dedicated to enhancing the services at The FELT Wisdom, a private practice I co-founded with my best friend, DD.
